2011 registrations

Registration is closed.

We would like to draw your attention to the changes to the regulations for the UTMB®,  CCC® and TDS concerning the obligatory equipment and a new item outlining an action concerning health matters, which substitutes itself for the Ultra-Trail ® Charter which we proposed in a voluntarily capacity since 2008.

In order to manage the 2011 registrations fairly and squarely, they can only be made by internet.

UTMB®, CCC®, TDS (Sur les Traces des Ducs de Savoie)

A pre-registration period will open from December, 22nd 2010 to January, 12th 2011 during which time all candidates will be able complete their application form, including qualifying courses, for the event of their choice. This form will be validated by the payment of 50€ deposit payable by credit-card (secured on-line payment)

Enrolment for each race will not be possible unless the candidate has completed the necessary qualifying races: click here for the rules concerning the qualifying races for the 2011 Ultra-Trail®

UTMB® : 5 points acquired in 2009 and/or 2010 (in 2 races maximum)
CCC® : 1 point acquired in 2009 or 2010
TDS : 2 points acquired in 2009 and/or 2010

If the number of pre-registrations for a race is higher than the maximum number of available places, a draw will be organized on January 18th, 2011.

NB : It will be possible to pre-register as a group (minimum 2 people, maximum 12 people per group, with your partner, your running companions etc). The first group member who will pre-enroll will have to click " Pre-registration in group", he will then obtain a group number that he will communicate to the other members. Then, they just have to indicate this number in " Pre-Registration in group" when they will pre-register.
Should there be a draw, then the groups will be drawn as a group. Like this the result will be the same for each group member.

For those who have their pre-registration confirmed there will be a period of 10 days, from 21 till 30 January 2011, in which to finalise and complete their registration by paying, by credit card, the balance of their registration fee and by submitting the relevant supporting documents.

Those who do not finalise their registration within the given time will loose their advantage, the deposit will be kept by the organisation and they will not benefit from a priority registration the following year.

Should there be a draw, the losers of the draw will automatically have their 50€ deposit returned to them. They will be able to have priority registration (without the pre-registration) for the same race the following year, on the condition that they have gained the necessary number of points by finishing the qualifying races, conforming to the regulations put in place for the year of their registration (this rule is subject to change each year)

 By registering, each runner personally agrees to engage in the following :
· I truly declare to have read and understood the race ethics (available at www.ultratrailmb.com)
· I understand and agree to the conditions of participation stated in the rules
· I agree to comply to all aspects of the rules
· I promise to respect the ethics scrupulously and to promote them
· I declare to have enquired about the medical contraindications which could concern me and, consequently, relieve the organisation of any responsibility for any medical problem that may incur during the race due to negligence on my part
· I acknowledge and understand that in the case of an inexact statement concerning my nationality, the organisation reserves the right to cancel my registration without any reimbursement.
· I acknowledge and understand that in the case of inexact declaration of qualifying races, non-conformity of the rules or untruths, the organisation reserves the right to cancel my registration without any reimbursement.

La Petite Trotte à Léon

A PTL team must have at least 1 finisher from a previous UTMB® race. The pre-registration period will be open from December, 22nd 2010 to January, 7th 2011. If the number of teams is higher than the number permitted on the start line, a draw will take place January, 9th before the end of the period of pre-registration for the other three events to enable those who were unlucky in the draw to pre-register for one of the other races, should they wish to.
The team leader (which is necessarily a UTMB® finisher) makes the pre-registration for all his team at the same time.

Rights of engagement for the 2011 event :
- UTMB® : 150 €
- CCC® : 102 €
- TDS : 102 €
- PTL : 520 € (same fees for the enrolment of 2 or 3 runners)
