Car-parks and communal transport

Free parking at the Grepon and Brevent car-parks in Chamonix

Before entering the Grépon car-park, armed with your Ultra-Trail® Pass (downloadable from your runner’s file) go to the Grépon car-park’s welcome desk (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30 to 19:30) You will obtain a card which will give you free access to the car-park, valuable from Wednesday 9:30 to Monday 12:00. This card allows you to enter and exit freely throughout this period.
Camper-vans: parking is authorized at the Grepon car-park, but it is forbidden elsewhere.

Free shuttle buses to the town centre

Use the « Mulets » to reach the different areas of the race and move freely around Chamonix.

Free communal transport (buses and train)

For many years, the Communauté de Communes de la Vallée de Chamonix Mont-Blanc has mobilised itself to encourage the public to use public transport and has arranged for free travel on the buses and trains in both summer and winter. You, as a privileged visitor in the Mont-Blanc Pays, may also benefit from using the urban Chamonix bus service (excluding the night service) and the SNCF train between Servoz and Vallorcine simply by presenting your carte d’hôte. If you are staying in one of the communes, ask for one at your accommodation, if not ask for one from one of the race information points.
